Our Next Trip: Kelong Fishing?
I would think Ben would say yes cos it's near the sea. Dan and Niq will shrug their shoulders but the push factor would be for the seafood and bikini babes.
There is another kelong at acheh -- http://www.kelongacheh.com/. My friend says that she also heard good reviews abt this one.
[Email] I Had You In My Heart

I asked the Lord to bless you
As I prayed for you today
To guide you and protect you
As you go along your way...
His promises are true,
And when we give Him all our cares
You know He will see us through...
Seems difficult at best
Just remember I'm here praying
And God will do the rest.

Cherie's Friend Clara
Cherie intro me to her friend some sundays ago..
she is our age and does one on one tuition for some ten years already... I spoke with her at length before service about biz ideas and about group tuition (some ideas I already shared with Merv)...
today she just msn me and told me thanks for the ideas, she has taken them on. now currently renting a place and did the place up for her students to come group tuition... looks like she is starting to move from personal to biz positioning... so exiting and cool, when you know your ideas made a diff (however small) to another...
Hmm,I see possiblities between Merv and tis lady ( Clara) ..... I mean biz possiblities la.. keke..
This coming thursday she will be joining us guys for supper after bible studies... please come come...
JB food trip
As proof that we haven't been exaggerating, here are the pics.
While waiting for our main course to arrive, we had 2 plates of chee cheong fun and orh luak.
Take note of the huge glasses of sugarcane juice we had.
A closer look.
We had 2 plates of sotong, mussels, chili crabs, stingray, kangkong, frog's legs and some other stuff I don't remember. What you see in the pic is not all. These were taken after we ate some dishes and remembered we had to take pics. Empty dishes have already been cleared.
To this day, I'm still being blamed for ordering every single variety of seafood the stall had (cannot blame me what..the food looks so good).
The best thing about all that food was the price. A grand total of S$17 per pax!!!!!
Try beating that.

Points to ponder on
Hey, read the below on my friend's blog. Thought it was pretty good. I especially like the point in purple.
- Time is our MOST important asset, not money
- Learning to invest time is MORE important than learning to invest money
- Time is the basis in which we earn our money; we can spend and then earn back the money in multifold, yet we can never get the each second we waste
- Remember your past, know your present, and see your future
- Think about your vision, ink your vision, do your vision and review your vision
- Your value is not in your knowledge, but the words you speak and the things you do with your knowledge
300
this video is basically an introduction and an overview to what they had to go thru... and even that was enough to make me sweat where i sat... my mind can't even comprehend the intensity of the workouts. in fact, as a gauge of their fitness, they designed a fitness test called "300" which comprises of a total of 300 reps broken down as follows:-
“300”
25x Pull-ups +
50x Deadlift of 135 pounds +
50x Push-up +
50x Box Jump @ 24 inch box +
50x Floor Wiper @ 135 pounds (one-count) +
50x Kettle Ball Clean and Press @ 36 pounds (Kettle Ball must touch floor between reps) +
25x Pull-ups
300 reps total
hur hur hur. 25 pull-ups. like real lor =P i can't even do 5 haahahhaa.
if you're interested in reading up more, gym jones is the guy who trained them, he's got a few articles and videos you might wanna check out.

Trusting GOD in His Faithfulness
by Max Lucado
I’ve often thought it curious how few people Jesus raised from the dead.
He healed hundreds and fed thousands, but as far as we know he only raised three: the daughter of Jairus, the boy near Nain, and Lazarus. Why so few? Could it be because he knew he’d be doing them no favors? Could it be because he couldn’t get any volunteers? Could it be that once someone is there, the last place they want to return to is here?
We must trust God. We must trust not only that he does what is best but that he knows what is ahead. Ponder these words of Isaiah 57:1–2: “The good men perish; the godly die before their time and no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to realize that God is taking them away from the evil days ahead. For the godly who die shall rest in peace” (TLB).
My, what a thought. God is taking them away from the evil days ahead. Could death be God’s grace? Could the funeral wreath be God’s safety ring? As horrible as the grave may be, could it be God’s protection from the future?
Trust in God, Jesus urges, and trust in me.
“Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust in me.”
