hi fellas

wonder if any of you heard of the personal promise bible? basically it takes the promises of the bible and personalises it to your name so that when you read it, it's like the Lord is whispering these promises into your very own ear. it's something that pastor encourages us to do, taking the love of God and magnifying it and focussing it upon ourselves.

the sun's light on its own is very beneficial to everyone generally, it helps plants to grow, makes us feel warm, dries our clothes, etc.. but light focussed into laser beams can operate on eyes, cut steel, freeze objects, kill ants... you get the picture =) how much more can we accomplish knowing that the power of God's love is focussed into a tight laser beam in our spirit man?

Rom. 8:37 Nicholas is more than a conqueror in Christ.
No, in all these things, Nicholas is more than a conqueror through Him who loved him.

II Cor. 2:14 Nicholas is led triumphantly by Christ.

Gal. 2:20 Kevin was crucified with Christ.
Kevin has been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer Kevin who lives, but Christ living in him. That life which Kevin now lives in the flesh, he lives by faith in the Son of God, who loved Kevin, and gave Himself up for him. .

Phil. 4:13 May May can do all things through Christ.
May May can do all things through Christ, who strengthens her.

I John 5:4-5 Jolene has overcome the world.
For Jolene is born of God and overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: Jolene's faith. Jolene overcomes the world because she believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
